Railway Interiors Conference in Berlin

Back from a snowy Berlin, where I presented a paper in the "Railway Interiors International Conference". The title of the paper was "Predicting fires in rail vehicles" and it was about the implementation of Fire Modelling into a more complex risk assessment exercise. I went through the work that my colleagues have done in the San Francisco office and particularly:

- Modelling Fire Protection in Railway Vehicles

- Innovations in the use of modelling in modern day rolling stock

- A probabilistic approach to designing fire criteria

- The future...full-scale fire spread modelling?
